Stratejik Havayolu İttifaklarında Ortaya Çıkan İşlem Maliyetlerinin İncelenmesine Yönelik Ampirik Bir Çalışma
Özet
Kapsam, ölçek ve yoğunluk ekonomilerinden faydalanmak isteyen havayolu firmaları operasyonel maliyetlerini azaltmak ve uçuş ağlarını artırmak gibi hedefler temelinde işbirliği oluşturmaktadırlar. Bununla birlikte işbirliğine dahil olan birçok firma bir yandan uçuş maliyetlerini azaltırken diğer taraftan, öngörülemeyen işlem maliyetlerine de katlanmak durumunda kalmaktadır. Bu kapsamda bu çalışmada stratejik havayolu işbirliklerine dahil olan toplam 59 küresel havayolu firmasının oluşturdukları işbirlikleri işlem maliyeti yaklaşımıyla araştırılmıştır. Araştırma online anket yoluyla işbirliğine dahil olan havayolu firmalarının orta ve üst düzey yöneticilerinden toplam 85 katılımcıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Partner güvenilirliği, fırsatçı davranış, ve işbirliği çıktısı değişkenleriyle oluşturulan teorik model çerçevesinde PLS-YEM programı kullanılarak veriler analiz edilmiştir. Kurgulanan hipotezler verilerin yapısına göre yapısal eşitlik modeli kullanılarak test edilmiştir. Yapılan analizler sonucunda işlem maliyeti yaklaşımının temel varsayımlarının hepsinin desteklendiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Partner güvenilirliği değişkeninin fırsatçı davranışı tahmin etmede, fırsatçı davranışın da işbirliği çıktısını tahmin etme noktasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir sonuç verdiğine ulaşılmıştır.
