Özet

Polis memurlarının karıştığı mesleki suiistimaller, Nijerya Polis Gücünü sürekli olarak kötü bir ışığa soktu ve kolluk kuvvetlerinin kamuoyundaki imajını olumsuz etkiledi. Bunun ışığında, bu çalışma Nijerya'da 2008 ve 2018 yılları arasında kaydedilen polisin görevi kötüye kullanma olaylarını araştırdı. Kavramsal çerçeve olarak farklı çağrışım teorisi ve durumsal seçim teorisi kullanıldı.
